A Season of Good Golf and Great Company  

I am so proud to be your Captain for 2026. Black Bush is more than just a place to play 18 holes, it’s a club where we all come to relax, meet friends, and enjoy a bit of fresh air on a beautiful course.
Whether you’re a seasoned golfer and playing in the 'Bunnies' or the 'Blues' the goal this year is the same, to enjoy your golf. We are lucky to have 27 holes of incredible parkland that are kept in top-notch condition. It’s a great place to leave the stress of the week behind.  

While we all love a friendly game, representing the club in matches is a special part of being a member and a part I am particularly passionate about. When you pull on the Black Bush colours the mighty Green and Yellow give your best and never never give up. Winning is a great feeling and the ambition this year as it always is, is to bring some silverware to Black Bush .
Outside of Inter-club we have a game here for everyone, no matter your age or ability.  

Starting very soon we have our usual Bunnies and Blue Mondays which is played over the summer months. Tuesdays give us the Swinging 60s and our fantastic Ladies Day.
Our Wednesday Open is also starting very soon. We have a Seniors competition on a Thursday, and our very friendly social golf competition is on Friday evenings. Our Friday Social is a perfect way to bring seasoned golfers and 'Get into Golfers' together in a relaxed and fun way.   

In the pipeline is a new 27-hole competition to be held on the 27th of June, details to follow closer the time!

I also want to encourage you to avail of the clubhouse and to treat it as your own. It’s a fantastic spot to hold a family celebration or a work event, and Harmony Catering  are always there to give you a warm welcome.

I’m looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible on the fairways or in the bar for a chat. Let's have a safe healthy and happy year of golf.
